The video is set in an Egyptian cave and Mr. Hahn, the band’s DJ, was the director. The song debuted at number six on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, being the band’s highest debut on the chart. The song employs a verse-chorus-verse format, akin to the majority of their first two albums, plus a mechanically-themed breakdown halfway through the second chorus. It is technically their longest single to date, although the album version of “Shadow of the Day” plus its electronic-styled keyboard outro, has a longer duration.
